THE MONEY: The former chair and chief executive officer of The Walt Disney Co. has redefined what corporate retirement looks like. Eisner, through his Beverly Hills-based private investment firm The Torante Co., seems to check off a business bucket list, from operating an independent television studio to owning a soccer team. Most recently, Eisner sold his stake in The Bazooka Cos. Inc., the candy holding company over the namesake bubblegum brand as well as such candies as Push Pop and Juicy Drop.

THE BUZZ: With the sweet relief of selling the candy asset, Eisner has cleared his plate to focus on the Portsmouth Football Club, a team the billionaire bought in 2017. A part of the English Football League One, the third tier of the country’s professional soccer structure, Eisner has been heavily involved in revamping the club’s stadium. He is expanding the historic property in the South England city, greenlighting a $14.6 million dollar upgrade to the grounds.
