Over the course of two decades, Skadden partner Allen Lanstra has built a powerhouse litigation practice focused on high-stakes cases for some of the world’s most sophisticated companies –Toyota, Bank of America, MGA Entertainment, among many others. While litigating mega-class actions and pivoting nimbly from constitutional law to shareholder derivative actions to commercial disputes, Lanstra has maintained an impactful pro bono practice that earned him the State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services in 2011. His many contributions to the Los Angeles community include his service on the Board of Directors of the Western Center on Law & Poverty, and prior service on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, the Board of Directors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School.
