John Calcagnini is managing director and head of Stout’s Healthcare Investment Banking practice. He has extensive experience with advising healthcare service, medical device and life science companies on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and equity and debt financings.
Calcagnini has successfully executed more than 45 transactions in the healthcare industry and had a very strong performance in fiscal 2019 (ends September) having advised Retina Vitreous Associates, Inc. on its sale to CVP (CEI Vision Partners/Revelstoke Capital Partners), medical device manufacturer Cefaly Technology on its sale to DW Healthcare Partners, and Premier Health Care Management, Inc. on the sale of five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility to Optalis Healthcare, Inc. He also advised on other transactions, including LA based Oncotelic’s merger with Mateon Therapeutics.
