Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Mucker Capital

THE LATEST: Hsu’s internet venture capital firm is looking to raise $55 million for a fourth fund. In the past year, Mucker also expanded into the Southeast aligning with veteran venture capitalist Monique Villa, who moved to Nashville with an eye toward untapped potential in the burgeoning region.

BACKGROUND: Hsu co-founded Mucker Capital with Erik Rannala in 2012 to invest in seed-stage companies in internet software, services and media. Mucker has invested in TaskRabbit Inc., Trunk Club Inc., Honey, ResortPass Inc. and more. Prior to forming Mucker, Hsu was chief product officer of AT&T Interactive. In three years there, Hsu doubled revenue to more than $1 billion. He has led product teams at eBay Inc., Green Dot Corp. and Spot Runner Inc.

WORTH NOTING: Hsu is a member of Stanford University’s Undergraduate Cabinet.
