THE LATEST: Zabloudil’s recent work has included representing Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. in its acquisition of 1 Hotel South Beach for $610 million. She also worked on behalf of a real estate investment trust in connection with a multimillion dollar transaction of a complex luxury hotel and condominium project in Miami Beach.

BACKGROUND: Zabloudil is the managing partner of Akerman’s Los Angeles office and serves on the firm’s board. Under Zabloudil’s leadership, the office has more than doubled its headcount since 2015, when she assumed the role. The office offers real estate and land-use capabilities; a robust corporate and securities practice; complex commercial litigation capabilities; a leading labor and employment team; and entertainment, sports and intellectual property specialists.

WORTH NOTING: Zabloudil was a founding member of Akerman’s 360 Degree Hospitality Sector Team, which provides comprehensive representation on all aspects of hotel and resort projects.
