THE LATEST: Schloessman oversees day-to-day operations for the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, which was founded in 1995 and partners with Los Angeles to attract major events such as NBA All-Star Weekend, NCAA Men’s Regional college basketball games and the Super Bowl.

BACKGROUND: Schloessman spent 13 years at CB Commercial, now CBRE Group Inc., before joining LASEC. She was managing officer of CB Commercial’s downtown office, where she was responsible for business development, operations, management and community relations efforts.

WORTH NOTING: Schloessman, who attended USC, serves on the advisory board of the school’s Sports Business Institute.
