THE LATEST: FocalPoint announced in February the firm’s expansion to New York, the investment bank’s third office after its headquarters in Los Angeles and a satellite in Chicago. FocalPoint also advised a number of clients on transactions in the past year, including Streamline Circuits Corp., which was purchased in December by Summit Interconnect Inc.
BACKGROUND: Stullich was pursuing an MBA at UCLA when he co-founded FocalPoint with Nishen Radia in 2002. Since then, the investment bank based in West Los Angeles has advised on more than $8 billion in transactions. The firm focuses on middle-market companies with revenue in the $50 million to $500 million range. Before FocalPoint, Stullich worked in corporate finance at Houlihan Lokey.
WORTH NOTING: Stullich is a chairman emeritus of the International Association of Investment Bankers. He received an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.
