THE LATEST: In March, Wood Smith Henning & Berman opened its 24th office. Last fall, the firm announced an exclusive association with international law firm and legal services provider DWF, in which the firms will extend their reach and share opportunities.
BACKGROUND: Berman represents Fortune 500 companies and mid-market businesses in commercial and business law, spanning various business issues, professional liability, real estate, intellectual property, entertainment endeavors and construction-related issues. Berman has successfully tried numerous complex cases to verdict. He co-founded WSHB in 1997.
WORTH NOTING: Berman is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and serves as the Pacific Coast Gold chapter chairman. He also sits on the advisory board for the Claims and Litigation Management Association, the legal board of advisers for the National Association of Home Builders and the Palisades-Malibu YMCA Board of Directors.
