THE LATEST: Weidhaas will helm the firm’s Santa Monica office, slated to open this summer, its second in Southern California.
BACKGROUND: Weidhaas has been with Goodwin Procter for more than 25 years. He co-chairs the firm’s private equity practice group and is a member of its technology and emerging companies practice. He serves on the firm’s allocations committee and was previously on its executive committee. Weidhaas specializes in private equity and venture capital investments. He has worked with Fortune 50 financial institutions in strategic investments, merchant banking activities and private M&A. Clients include Kind, Behrman Capital and Great Hill Partners.
WORTH NOTING: Weidhaas is a member of the Boston, New York and California State Bar Associations as well as the American Bar Association.
