Director of Athletics
USC
Jennifer Cohen became the first woman to lead USC’s athletic department when she was named the Charles Griffin Cale Director of Athletics in 2023. Under Cohen’s leadership, USC has continued its athletic excellence, with both the men’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams winning national titles in 2025. Those titles helped push USC’s total NCAA Division I national titles to 115, the third-most of any school in the country. Cohen oversaw the school’s historic transition to the Big Ten Conference in 2024, after USC was a marquee member of the Pac-12. During USC’s first year in the Big Ten, women’s soccer and women’s basketball both won conference championships. Among her biggest fundraising successes has been helping secure a $50 million gift to establish the Bloom Football Performance Center.
