A film historian and Emmy-winning producer, Bob Gazzale has led the American Film Institute for nearly 20 years. He is AFI’s third president and chief executive and has held various positions since joining the Institute in 1992. This includes the director of the institute’s national programs in New York and the director of its productions in Los Angeles.
