One of the co-founders of Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester, litigator Dennis Kass is in his third year as managing partner of the downtown-based law firm. He remains chair of the complex litigation team and manages a broad firmwide group of about 150 attorneys. This year, Manning Kass expanded into the Inland Empire after acquiring Smith Law Group in Riverside, adding a significant government entity liability practice group to its repertoire. Best Lawyers named Kass among its 2026 Best Lawyers, highlighting the “top 5%” of U.S.-based attorneys.
