Michelman has helped grow Westwood-based Michelman & Robinson, which he co-founded and is chair of, into a mid-size business litigation powerhouse with outposts elsewhere in California, Texas and New York. His legal victories this past year include securing a settlement for a Mid-Wilshire-based insurance firm which protected the company against an alleged liability exceeding $2 billion. Michelman also represented a former chief executive of MediaLink in litigation against United Talent Agency. Outside of the legal world, Michelman founded and owns a charter flight company, Flyhouse, that manages more than 1,000 aircraft.
