Post has been in charge of Thompson Coburn’s office in Century City for more than five years and is a member of the firm’s management committee. A specialist in corporate law and financial matters, she has shepherded several major transactions in the past two years, including a $15 million sale of a private equity-backed insurance brokerage to a top insurance provider; the closing of a $40 million transaction to fund a life sciences company; a series A financing deal for an agritech startup; closing a venture transaction of $50 million; and closing on $72 million in financing for a public company.
Post is Thompson Coburn’s first LGBTQ+ office leader and has been involved in committees and organizations championing LGBTQ+ rights and opportunities, such as StartOut LA, which supports tech and innovation entrepreneurs; FSIX Advisors Circle, a networking and resource group for finance professionals; and Thompson Coburn’s own LGBTQ+ Affinity Group, which focuses on mentorship within the firm. She also founded the West Hollywood chapter of ProVisors.
