Sokoloff is the co-managing partner of Leonard Green & Partners, a private equity investment firm based in Sawtelle with more than $75 billion in assets under management. The firm – which has completed over 150 investments ranging from traditional buyouts, going-private transactions, recapitalizations, growth equity, and selective public equity and debt positions – invests in healthy, growing, market-leading companies. Before joining LGP, Sokoloff was a managing director in corporate finance at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. Currently, he is on the boards of Jetro Cash & Carry, Mariner Wealth Advisors and the Melanoma Research Alliance. Sokoloff is also a trustee of Williams College and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
