Nicole Janigian Simonian has more than two decades of international trade and cross border transactional experience. She has significant experience serving as a strategic advisor and outside general counsel for companies, in connection with their market entry and global business expansion, operations and dispositions worldwide, with significant experience across Asia. She currently co-chairs Crowell & Moring’s International Trade practice and heads the firm’s International Employment/Global Mobility practice. In addition to her legal practice, Simonian is a director of the firm’s China consulting subsidiary, CMI Shanghai.
Simonian saw early on the importance of establishing a dedicated response team to address the COVID-19 pandemic. She was a founding member of the firm’s COVID-19 Working Group. She advises multinational companies on compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations affecting employers and providing guidance on how to navigate regulatory complexities.
