A lice Chen Smith is the managing partner of Yoka | Smith and an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully tried many cases to verdict and obtained summary judgment wins. Her primary focus is litigating catastrophic personal injury cases, products liability and business litigation matters. She practices throughout the State of California in trial and appellate courts.
Leading by example, Smith serves on the boards of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) and will be its president in 2026, and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) and will be its president in 2027. Smith also serves on the Los Angeles Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) as its membership chair. She is also a member of Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association (SCCLA) and LACBA President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession.
Smith practices throughout the State of California in trial and appellate courts. Her results-oriented work and civility has led to her recognition by a number of publications and organizations.
