As the managing partner of Latham’s two Los Angeles metro offices in downtown LA and Century City, Larry Seymour leads 263 lawyers and their supporting staff through strategic planning, client relations, financial performance and budgeting, compensation and progression decisions, mentoring and career development, and lawyer recruiting and integration, while also maintaining a thriving executive compensation and employee benefits practice.
Seymour rose to lead the firm’s founding office because of his leadership skills and business savvy, particularly in regard to the key role his executive compensation and employee benefits practice plays in the major corporate transactions the firm shepherds in California and around the world. In his practice, Seymour represents public and private companies, private equity firms and family offices, as well as senior executives and management teams, each in transactional and non-transactional settings. He also advises public and private companies and firms in day-to-day executive compensation matters.
