Peter L. Slavin, MD, president and chief executive officer of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Health System, is one of the nation’s most accomplished and influential healthcare leaders, with a distinguished career spanning clinical medicine, academic leadership, scientific innovation and healthcare policy. He leads one of the nation’s premier academic health systems, serving more than one million patients annually across 40 locations with more than 4,500 physicians and nurses, 17,500 employees and 2,500 active research projects.

Since joining Cedars-Sinai in 2024, Dr. Slavin has strengthened the organization’s position as a national leader in patient care, research and medical education.
