Kasey Burke leads Sawtelle-based affordable housing developer Meta Housing Corp. He has been president of the group, which he joined in 2002, since 2014. In that role, he guides the direction of the company, oversees its growth and portfolio management. Under Burke, Meta has developed more than 82 communities consisting of 7,000 units throughout the Golden State. Recent projects include Citrus Crossing in Glendale, Encelia at Côta Vera in Chula Vista and Tellus on Carson. In 2021, Burke, alongside former Meta Housing President John Huskey, formed Meta Development to expedite affordable housing projects. The group has financed a number of projects with low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds.
