Burton is the chief executive of Cityview, a Century City-based vertically integrated real estate investment management and development firm that specializes in market rate housing across the Western and Southwestern U.S. Cityview is currently under development on more than 2,000 units, has invested in close to 150 projects, has more than 6,000 units under management and owns and manages more than 50 buildings. In 2024, the firm managed and executed new loan originations, refinancings and loan modifications totaling $500 million, and closed 14 acquisitions through its Western U.S. target markets. Notable recent acquisitions include Candela, a 112-unit complex in Franklin Village and Silva, a 221-unit community in Silver Lake.
