JOSÉ HORACIO GOMEZ
Archdiocese of Los Angeles
José H. Gomez is the fifth archbishop of Los Angeles, the nation’s largest Roman Catholic diocese. He is vice president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and serves on the Pontifical Commission for Latin America. A native of Monterrey, Mexico, and a naturalized American citizen, he is the highest-ranking Latino in the American Catholic Church.
