West L.A. private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners announced Thursday that its operating company, Tucson, Ariz.-based Mister Car Wash, entered Mississippi with the acquisition of seven car washes from Flowood, Miss.-based Venture Car Wash. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Century City investment management firm Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors announced Monday that its Kayne Anderson Energy Funds and management team members have committed $250 million in equity to Phoenix Natural Resources, a new Houston oil and gas company that will acquire and develop oil and natural gas assets in North America.
