Now Unionized, Port Truckers OK First Contract

Newly unionized truckers working for Shippers Transport Express, a Carson company that services the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, have ratified their first contract. The pact, which includes increased hourly wages, was announced Monday, the Long Beach Press Telegram reports.
