‘Maleficent’ Casts Box Office Spell

Walt Disney Co.’s “Maleficent,” which stars Angelina Jolie in a retelling of “Sleeping Beauty,” won the weekend box office by opening to a solid $70 million in the U.S. and Canada, The Wall Street Journal reports.
