Hollywood Employment Surges on Web Programming

A surge in jobs generated by production of original content for Amazon, YouTube and other outlets has pushed employment in Hollywood to the highest level in a decade, with 8,000 jobs added to the entertainment sector in Los Angeles County last year, according to state jobs data, the Los Angeles Times reports.
