Ford Motor Co. is the latest car company – joining Tesla, Nissan, Honda and several others – to get a permit to operate driverless cars in California, the Los Angeles Times reports. Why here? A Ford exec explains that the state has more “clutter” on the streets – bicycles, pedestrians, lane-splitting motorcycles, etc.
