Disney Cruise Line will call the Port of Los Angeles home for the next two years when the Disney Wonder ship arrives on Friday, offering seven-night summer cruises to the Mexican Riviera.
The 964-foot-long ocean liner, capable of carrying 2,400 passengers and nearly 1,000 crew members, is scheduled to leave Los Angeles tonight for a special two-night cruise, returning on Sunday.
Disney first came to the Port of Los Angeles in 2005, when the Magic cruise ship enjoyed a sold-out trial run that coincided with the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. The Disney Magic returned in 2008, offering a dozen seven-night summer cruises to the Mexican Riviera that also sold out.
