THE MONEY: Property value and stock holdings dinged Kadisha’s net worth this year. As co-managing partner of Omninet Capital – a Beverly Hills-based real estate and venture capital fund that manages more than $1 billion in capital – he shares ownership of more than 10 million square feet of commercial space and 13,000 residential units nationwide. Both the commercial office space and the apartments of those holdings fell by more than 6% and 5%, respectively, while other parts of the Omninet portfolio remained flat.
THE BUZZ: Kadisha, who was born in Tehran, came to the United States after the Iranian Revolution and married into the wealthy Nazarian family. His wife, Dora, is the daughter of family patriarch Izak Parviz Nazarian, the late founder of Omninet Corp., which was acquired by Qualcomm in 1988. Kadisha was a member of the San Diego company’s board until 2002. In 2020, he bought a Beverly Hills estate for $25 million from David Simon, son of noted art collector Norton Simon.
