THE MONEY: Kadisha is co-managing partner of Omninet Capital, a Beverly Hills-based real estate and venture capital fund that manages more than $1 billion in capital. The firm owns more than 10 million square feet of commercial space and 13,000 residential units nationwide. The multifamily units rose in value, while other parts of the Omninet portfolio remained flat. Kadisha also holds a sizeable stake in Qualcomm Inc., a San Diego-based telecom giant.

THE BUZZ: Kadisha, who was born in Tehran, Iran, came to the United States after the Iranian Revolution and married into the wealthy Nazarian family. His wife, Dora, is the daughter of family patriarch Izak Parviz Nazarian, the late founder of Omninet Corp., which was acquired by Qualcomm in 1988. Kadisha was part of the San Diego company’s board until 2002. In 2020, he bought a Beverly Hills estate for $25 million from David Simon, son of noted art collector and philanthropist Norton Simon. He also recently deeded to Dora another estate in Beverly Hills that he had previously bought and has reportedly been valued at about $20 million.
