Chief Executive, Antelope Valley Medical Center

Mirzabegian became chief executive of Antelope Valley Medical Center in 2019. It is a post that was familiar to him; he had held that position from 2007-2013, during which time Mirzabegian greatly improved the hospital’s financial standing. Between engagements with the hospital, he was chief executive of Avanti Hospitals Healthcare System in southeastern Los Angeles, among other posts. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and speaks on health care and hospital leadership issues. Additionally, he has served on the boards of more than a dozen professional and community organizations.
