Co-Managing Partner, Upfront Ventures

Upfront Ventures is a venture capital firm that invests almost 50%
of its funding in Los Angeles-based companies, including Bird, Dot.
LA, Goat, Parachute Home, Ring and Ritual. Suster joined the venture
capital firm in 2007 and became managing partner in 2011. By 2019,
Upfront had $2 billion in capital under management. Suster started the
Upfront Summit in 2012, which is an annual invitation-only conference
that hosts founders, entrepreneurs, corporate executives and cultural
thought leaders. It was most recently held in March at the Academy
Museum of Motion Pictures and featured over 1,200 guests from
around the world.
