Executive Director, Port of Los Angeles
Seroka, who was appointed executive director of the port in 2014,
recently announced cargo volumes of nearly 10 million units last year,
the second-greatest in the port’s 115-year history. It also marks the
23rd consecutive year it has been ranked as the busiest container port
in the nation, along with a $1.6 billion budget. Since the onset of the
pandemic in March 2020, Seroka was given the additional title of chief
logistics officer for the city by former Mayor Eric Garcetti. That evolved
into heading up Logistics Victory Los Angeles. He is also part of the
USC Global Supply Chain Management Institute.
