Working in Amazon’s Santa Monica offices with Marie Donoghue, the vice president of Global Sports Video, Stacy has positioned the company to start spending big on live sports rights. Last March, Amazon spent more than $1 billion for the NFL’s package of Thursday night games, then signed up major talent such as Al Michaels and Kirk Herbsteit to call the action. Stacey came to Amazon in October 2019 after a run as a coordinating producer for regional sports and a vice president at Spectrum for sports production and strategy.
