Chairman & President, W.M. Keck Foundation

Day graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 1965 and started his career with the investment banking firm White Weld & Co. in New York. In 1971, he founded Trust Company of the West and served as chairman from 1971 through 2014. In addition to chairing the Keck Foundation, Day is on the boards of the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, the Keck School of Medicine at USC and Claremont McKenna College. The Keck Foundation supports discoveries in science, engineering and medicine as well as organizations that help children. During the pandemic, the foundation gave grants of $6 million and $4 million to USC and UCLA, respectively, for coronavirus research.
