SouthWest Water Co. which went private this week, on Wednesday announced that its new owners have selected Floyd E. Wicks as chief executive officer.
Wicks succeeds Mark A. Swatek, who is leaving the Los Angeles water utility to pursue other opportunities, the company said. Wicks most recently was chief executive officer of American States Water Co., a water and electric utility based in San Dimas.
SouthWest Water on Monday closed its $427 million acquisition by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Water Asset Management LLC.
