Brea Mall: Forever 21 opened in September

Forever 21 announced on Friday that it is launching a line of beauty boutiques.

The Highland Park-based retailer, which Forbes estimated generated $4.4 billion in 2015 sales, plans to open a total of 13 locations at malls owned by publicly traded commercial real estate investment firm GGP Inc. this year and next, according to a press release.

The concept, named Riley Rose, will sell cosmetics, accessories, and home furnishings, and is targeted toward millennials, the statement said.

The fast fashion giant announced last month that it planned to open more than 40 locations of its off-price family retail store, F21 Red, this year.
