CBRE’s White Retires

CBRE Group Inc. on Monday said Brett White retired as chief executive on Friday and his successor, President Robert Sulentic, took the helm of the commercial real estate services giant.

The Los Angeles company originally announced in May that White, 52, would retire on Dec. 31 and Sulentic, 55, would succeed him. Sulentic has been with the company since 2006, when Trammell Crow Co. merged with CBRE. He was Trammell Crow’s chief executive and has served in several roles at CBRE has served, including chief financial officer.

White, who has been with CBRE for nearly 30 years, will remain on the board and Sulentic joins the board.

Shares closed down 17 cents, or 1 percent, to $18.76 on the New York Stock Exchange.
