Before joining U.S. Bank in 2016, Eric Freedman was chief investment officer, managing director, and global market strategist for Captrust Financial Advisors. Prior to that, he was a senior portfolio manager for Franklin Street Partners and a vice president within Goldman Sachs’ equity derivatives business. He graduated with a BS in economics, magna cum laude, from Colgate University, where he was captain of the lacrosse team. He earned his MBA in finance and management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Freedman serves on the investment committee of the Diocese of Raleigh, N.C., and the board and finance committee for the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, N.C.
