Mel Levine

Counsel, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher

Mel Levine, counsel in the Century City office of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, served as a member of Congress from 1983 until 1993 and as a member of the California Assembly from 1977 to 1982. He is a president of the Los Angeles Board of Water and Power Commissioners, sits on the advisory board of the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, and is a director of the Pacific Council on International Policy. Levine founded and co-chaired Rebuild America. He is married to journalist Connie Bruck, a staff writer for The New Yorker magazine. They have four children.
