Joshua S. Friedman

Joshua S. Friedman co-founded Canyon Partners in 1990. Canyon, a leading alternative asset manager with more than $21 billion in assets under management, specializes in value-oriented investments for institutional investors worldwide. Prior to forming Canyon, Friedman was director of capital markets for high-yield and private placements at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Before joining Drexel, he worked at Goldman Sachs in New York. Friedman is also a director and trustee of a number of nonprofit and charitable organizations.
