Jim Thomas is one of the real estate industry’s most-respected executives. As founder of the former Maguire Thomas Partners and founder of Thomas Properties Group Inc., his impact on the skyline of downtown includes Library Tower, Wells Fargo Center, and the Gas Co. Tower. He is chairman of Parkway Properties, which merged with Thomas Properties Group in 2013. Parkway is a real estate investment trust that owns and operates office properties. He was a former partner in two L.A. law firms and was principal owner of pro basketball’s Sacramento Kings.
