Sherry Lansing Foundation
Sherry Lansing is the founder and chief executive of Sherry Lansing Foundation, which is dedicated to cancer research, health, public education and career opportunities. She also is on the UC Board of Regents and serves on the boards of the Broad Center, the Broad Museum, the Carter Center, the Entertainment Industry Foundation, the W.M. Keck Foundation, the Lasker Foundation, the Scripps Research Institute and the Pacific Council on International Policy. Before launching her foundation in 2005, Lansing was chairwoman and chief executive of Paramount Pictures. She assumed this role after working for more than a decade as president of 20th Century Fox. As the first woman to head a major film studio, Lansing was involved in the production of films such as “Forrest Gump,” “Braveheart” and “Titanic.”
