CalNews.com is also good because it summarizes the top stories of the day and has links to other state and national stories. It has conservative commentary.

Snopes.com

This site contains Urban Legends Reference Pages, which not only tells me about the latest rumors, but tells me which ones are false. It’s fun.

NationalReview.com

Another resource for conservative views is the National Review Online. This is the Internet site of the magazine, which has news and commentary.

TheNation.com

To get the liberal point of view one can turn to this site as well as CommonDreams.org.
