Favorite Websites of Gary Chang, film composer, Gary Chang Music Co. Inc.

Lowendmac.com

This is a resource site for old Macintosh models. It’s a really bizarre idea but for those of us who have an old Mac, they have the support we need, such as links to places where you can get new components or places where you can get them fixed. Rather than converting your Mac into a fish tank, you can go here and make it functional again.

Legacydiecast.com

I collect model cars. This is a site out of Chicago and they have a lot of great photos and reviews and a great selection of model cars. These cars are hand-made from 450 or 500 parts and they cost like $170.

Subcommittee.com

At one point in time I was really into radio control. I used to be into cars but I switched to boats. So I discovered you can now buy radio controlled submarines. I haven’t bought one yet, but there’s one I’m looking at now. It’s about 28 inches long and $700. They make them as big as six feet. This site talks about how to build the models, what the best components to buy are and from whom.

This site is for people who are into electronic music. It has links to the Web sites of just about every big manufacturer of synthesizers, drum equipment, etc. It’s kind of like the Yahoo of electronic music instruments.
