Charles Malcolm Cooper was named president and chief operating officer of Kerr Glass Manufacturing Corp. of Los Angeles, the nation’s seventh-largest glass container maker. Cooper formerly had been a top executive with Owens-Illinois Inc., the country’s largest manufacturer of glass containers.
