David Kane has resigned his post as chief financial officer of National Lampoon Inc. for personal reasons, the Los Angeles media and entertainment company announced Wednesday. Kane joined the company in January as interim CFO after acting CFO Jeff Gonzalez resigned at the end of last year. National Lampoon would not elaborate on Kane’s departure and said it is searching for a replacement. Shares of National Lampoon lost 4 percent to $4.30 in Wednesday afternoon trading on the American Stock Exchange.
