Computer Sciences Corp.

Computer Sciences Corp. announced Friday that it has signed contract with French car manufacturer Renault to provide information technology infrastructure services for its Web sites in France and Spain. The contract is valued at $236 million over 5 years. El Segundo-based Computer Sciences Corp. will manage Renault’s technology infrastructure, including its network and mainframe system.



Arden Group, Inc.


Arden Group Inc, the Compton-based parent company of Gelson’s Markets, reported fourth-quarter net income of $3.9 million ($1.16 per diluted share), compared with $7.5 million ($2.23) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 1 decreased to $122.3 million from $185.1 million in the comparable quarter of the prior year.



DirecTV Group Inc.


DirecTV Group Inc. on Friday said it will enter into a new $2 billion senior secured credit facility and offer up to $500 million in unsecured senior notes to pay off existing loans.


The proceeds will allow the El Segundo-based firm to pay off and terminate an existing $1.26 billion senior secured credit line and repay an unsecured promissory note for $875 million. Any remaining funds will be used for working capital or other purposes.
