Katayoon Alavian is a senior project manager at Swinerton. She enjoys working on complicated projects with aggressive schedules and budgets. She has worked on a diverse range of project types, including high-end tenant improvements, building retrofits and seismic upgrades, core and shell, capital improvements, major lobby renovations, and retail. When she’s brought on board during the early stages of design and conception, she enjoys working collaboratively with the design team to establish the client’s desires and help them develop unique design ideas. She loves establishing successful budgets, planning for seamless logistical management, and setting up and managing high performing teams.
Alavian enjoys putting together cultural conferences for the community. Her goals are to increase her focus on mentorship, community involvement, growing as an individual in the construction industry, and continuing to develop unique design and construction methods.
