Sherry Cefali is a managing director in the Transactions Opinions Practice of Duff & Phelps and heads the Los Angeles office of approximately 100 people. A seasoned advisor to companies and boards, she has rendered over 100 fairness and solvency opinions in connection with transactions for companies ranging in size from small private companies to global public companies with over $40 billion in value.

Cefali’s experience includes rendering a solvency opinion to the board of directors of Yum Brands in connection with their spin-off of Yum China, a relative fairness opinion in connection with the roll-up and IPO of Paramount Group (the largest REIT IPO in history), and a solvency opinion to the board of directors of Darden Restaurants in connection with its spin-off of Four Corners Property REIT. Cefali was also one of the founders of the Women’s Leadership Council 17 years ago.
